Job Summary

KBS Heavy Duty Mechanics Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 maintenance technicians and coordinators
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure the team meets its objectives
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including trucks, cranes, and other machinery
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Manage inventory levels of spare parts and supplies
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance activities, including hours worked, equipment downtime, and other key metrics
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
    • Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair procedures
