Job Summary

KBS Heavy Duty Mechanics Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.
    • Monitor and report on maintenance activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel, operations staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of maintenance activities.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Physical stamina to perform maintenance activities.
