About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Mental Health & Addictions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the operation of community-based mental health & addiction services programs, ensuring the provision of comprehensive services to clients and their families with mental health disorders across the lifespan.

The Team Lead will provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, including ongoing and extensive clinical supervision to new clinicians and clinicians with little experience within this specialty. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy, and be licensed with an applicable body. Three years' experience with Mental Health & Addictions intervention is required, as well as the ability to provide evidence-based therapeutic intervention to Mental Health & Addictions clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities, identifying areas for service improvement, and facilitating and evaluating quality initiatives. They will also be responsible for drafting Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials, and other guidelines for care, as well as providing clinical leadership and supervision to the multi-disciplinary team.

This is a long-assignment full-time position, with approximately 75 hours biweekly. Travel to various sites may be required. About You
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed with an applicable body
  • Three years' experience with Mental Health & Addictions intervention
  • Provides evidence-based therapeutic intervention to Mental Health & Addictions clients
  • Ensures all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Identifies areas for service improvement and facilitates and evaluates quality initiatives

  • Provides clinical leadership and supervision to the multi-disciplinary team

  • Nonviolent crisis intervention
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager
