Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in coordinating and supervising community-based mental health and addiction services programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive services to clients with mental health disorders.
  • Lead clinical leadership initiatives, quality improvement projects, and facilitate internal referrals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for service improvement and implement evidence-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed with applicable regulatory body.
  • Five years' experience in Mental Health and Addictions intervention.
  • Proven track record of providing evidence-based therapeutic intervention.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for service improvement.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset.
