About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Mental Health and Addiction Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the operation of community-based mental health and addiction services programs. This includes ensuring the provision of comprehensive services to clients and their families with mental health disorders across the lifespan.

The Team Lead will provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, including ongoing and extensive clinical supervision to new clinicians and clinicians with little experience within this specialty. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy, and be licensed with an applicable body. Three years' experience with Mental Health and Addiction intervention is also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities, identifying areas for service improvement, and facilitating and evaluating quality initiatives. They will also be responsible for drafting Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials, and other guidelines for care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the operation of community-based mental health and addiction services programs
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Identify areas for service improvement and facilitate and evaluate quality initiatives
  • Draft Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials, and other guidelines for care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed with an applicable body
  • Three years' experience with Mental Health and Addiction intervention
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
