Role Overview:
We are seeking a remarkable Lead Site Reliability Engineer to become a vital part of our Trust team. Your ability to make impactful decisions on a daily basis and your enthusiasm for shaping the future of Relay will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee our production infrastructures, including AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL databases, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
2. Review and assess infrastructure change requests, addressing high-risk security and privacy concerns.
3. Develop playbooks and conduct game days and threat modeling exercises.
4. Establish monitoring systems to continuously evaluate infrastructure health.
5. Enhance our data repositories (database, warehouse, lake) through engine upgrades, zero-downtime migrations, and privacy tagging.
6. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a security-oriented culture within Relay.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer with expertise in Javascript, Typescript, GoLang, and Python.
- A commitment to integrating security into all aspects of our operations and readiness to be on-call for production issues.
- Strong collaboration skills, as our team thrives on constant communication and support.
- Familiarity with Ubiquity gears and Kubernetes clusters is a plus.
- Experience in a fintech startup environment is highly desirable.
