About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to join our team at 14150457 CANADA INC. as a key member of our operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations

Assess and analyze the efficiency of our daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize performance.

  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations

Develop and implement plans to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task management.

  • Plan for Changes to Schedules and Policies

Anticipate and prepare for changes to schedules and policies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining compliance with regulations.

  • Supervise Staff

Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

  • Arrange for Shipping Documentation and the Tracking and Tracing of Goods in Transit

Coordinate the preparation and submission of shipping documentation, as well as the tracking and tracing of goods in transit to ensure timely delivery and minimize losses.

  • Ensure Transport Compliance with Regulations

Ensure that all transportation activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.

  • Work Term and Hours

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.

  • Experience

At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.

  • Language

Fluency in English is required.
