Overview

As a Supply Chain Co-op at PepsiCo, you will be based out of one of our world-class manufacturing facilities in Canada. During your term, you will gain critical experiences and skills through improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes. You will have the opportunity to showcase your tangible impact by presenting on your contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team.

This experience will include motivating a frontline team, problem-solving issues, and removing barriers to help "win the shift". You will also be responsible for tracking business-critical KPIs to identify trends and focus on meaningful projects that advance PepsiCo's journey to be a Faster, Stronger, and Better Company.

Responsibilities

Additional skills and experiences you will gain include:

  • Building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
  • Applying theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, trouble shooting, and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability
  • Executing the Annual Operating Plan for Production
  • Achieving performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization, and quality
  • Tracking key performance indicators/costs, anticipating, and correcting trends that would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Overseeing and assuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP, GMP, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are available to work from September to December 2024, currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences, or a similar program, and have a strong commitment to working with and leading people.
