Role Overview
As a Solutions Architect (SA) at Palo Alto Networks, your primary objective will be to cultivate influential relationships with key technical decision-makers among our clients.

By establishing these trusted connections, you will be well-positioned to identify new opportunities that address customer challenges and drive their business objectives.

We aspire to make the SA role a pinnacle of your technical sales career.

You will collaborate with leading cybersecurity experts in the industry who will support your success both personally and professionally, as well as in your customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, working closely with your Account Manager and local partners within your region.
- Demonstrate security best practices and desired outcomes by developing technical proof of concepts and educating clients on the value of Prisma Cloud.
- Serve as the technical representative for all security and compliance matters related to Public Cloud (Alicloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform).
- Build relationships with technical teams in channel partners who will play a crucial role in ensuring successful deployments and cloud security.
- Facilitate customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D to help shape product features and requirements for our clients.

Travel requirements include approximately two trips per month, which may involve attending internal events (such as sales kickoffs and technical summits) as well as industry conferences focused on cloud security and DevSecOps.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of technical sales experience or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager, etc.).
- Familiarity with the configuration and administration of security features and services in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including identity and access management, networking, firewalls, and encryption.
