We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Solutions Architect to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building influential relationships with technical decision makers at customers and uncovering new opportunities to solve customer problems and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, working closely with your Account Manager and local partners to drive sales growth.
- Educate customers on industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape, showcasing security best practices and desired outcomes through technical proof of concepts and value proposition presentations.
- Be the technical voice of Sales for all things related to security and compliance in Public Cloud, including Alicloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop relationships with technical teams in channel partners to provide successful deployments and cloud security solutions.
- Act as a conduit for customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D to create requirements and deliver product features for our customers.
- Travel frequently, approximately twice a month, to attend internal events, industry conferences, and customer meetings.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience or military experience required.
- 3+ years of technical sales or equivalent experience highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager, etc.) and CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform configuration and administration of security features and services, including identity and access management, networking, firewalls, and encryption.
- Background in security domain, cloud security highly preferred.
- Understanding of container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
