Building Maintenance and Services Contract Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance and Services Contract Administrator to join our Real Property Planning and Management (RPPM) Branch at the National Research Council Canada (NRC). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in coordinating and monitoring contractors performing scheduled fixed scope contract work, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor contractors performing scheduled fixed scope contract work, including inspections and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including health and safety, security, and financial expenditures.
- Manage minor repair work resulting from fixed scope contract work, including collaboration with supervisors to renew service contracts.
- Conduct audits of service contracts and review reports from service providers for maintenance and inspection services.
- College Diploma in Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience with coordination and monitoring of contractors, including inspections and maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to building maintenance and services.
- Ability to provide advice and recommend changes to contracts for established services agreements.
