Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Watan Supermarket Halal Meat & Grocery. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive and personalized shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that all store operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to increase sales and improve merchandise presentation.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of sales staff, providing coaching and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Security and Safety: Ensure that all store security and safety protocols are followed, and that the store is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail store supervisory role
- Work Setting: Urban area, retail business
- Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties, hire and train or arrange for training of staff, authorize return of merchandise, establish work schedules, sell merchandise, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, organize and maintain inventory, supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
- Supervision: 5-10 people
- Security and Safety: Bondable
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone
