About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at DHAYOR AFRICAN STORE INC. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure seamless customer service and efficient store operations.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive store environment.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and make sales recommendations to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising, and Personnel Matters: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions and optimize store performance.
  • Resolve Issues that May Arise: Address customer complaints, supply chain disruptions, and other operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure accurate stock levels, manage inventory turnover, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and motivate sales staff, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a retail management role.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
