Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Investment Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Investment Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating communication with fund investors, generating and pursuing investor leads, and maintaining investor records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate communication with fund investors and generate and pursue investor leads.
  • Onboard new investors and maintain investor records, as well as maintain relationships with existing investors.
  • Perform office administration tasks, including creating a positive office environment that aligns with the firm's image.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met by preparing and filing various regulatory filings (OSC, SEC, CIMA) and supporting regulatory compliance.
  • Perform daily fund administration tasks, including settling, allocating, and reconciling daily trades and cash positions.
  • Communicate with service providers, including prime brokers, brokers, fund administrators, auditors, and legal counsel as required.
  • Prepare draft fund valuations on a monthly basis.
  • Manage treasury and accounts payable, including preparing or checking cash-flow projections for the company and its funds, and compiling, processing, and maintaining accounts payable records.
Requirements
  • CSC and/or CFA Level 1 or higher (a plus)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, or a related field
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service (a definite plus)
  • Uploading academic transcripts
  • Uploading aptitude test results (e.g., SAT, GRE, MCAT, GMAT, LSAT)
  • Recent graduates welcome to apply

Compensation

$45k - $75k per year plus bonus, with initial base salary dependent on experience and program/major. Health spending account.
