Hamilton Kent is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright to join their team in Toronto, Etobicoke. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance foremen, engineers, and production personnel to resolve equipment issues and improve overall efficiency.
  • Use precision tools, laser alignment, and testing equipment to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright-433A) certification.
  • Experience in maintaining industrial equipment, with a strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and modification techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

  • 100% of time spent on the plant floor or in the maintenance workshop.
  • Regularly required to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 30 lbs).
  • Must adhere to workplace Health & Safety rules and regulations.
