Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with maintenance foreman and production personnel to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright-433A) certification.
  • Experience in maintaining industrial equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • 100% of time spent on plant floor or in maintenance workshop.
  • Required to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 30 lbs.).
  • Must adhere to workplace Health & Safety rules and regulations.
