Campus Dining Hall and Catering Operations Manager

The Campus Dining Hall and Catering Manager is a key role within Aramark, responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to students at St. Thomas University. This position requires a strong leader who can oversee and manage dining operations, ensuring seamless execution of food service activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 20+ FOH and BOH staff during meal service, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality customer service.
- Develop and implement food service strategies to meet customer needs and preferences.
- Manage food inventory, staff scheduling, and labor costs to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate in-house catering services, including receiving orders, executing service, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, resolving any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in restaurant or hotel food and beverage management.
- Post-secondary culinary or hospitality diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and manage unionized staff.
- Ability to maintain effective customer rapport and demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, with a varying shift schedule.
