About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campus Dining Hall and Catering Manager to join our team at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, N.B. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions that meet the needs of our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage dining operations, including food preparation, service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement catering services for campus events and functions.
  • Manage a team of 20+ FOH and BOH staff during meal service, ensuring excellent customer service and a safe and healthy environment.
  • Conduct food inventory and assist with staff scheduling to manage labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in restaurant or hotel food and beverage management.
  • Post-secondary culinary or hospitality diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and manage unionized staff.
  • Ability to maintain effective customer rapport and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
