Job Summary:

The Distribution Team Lead is a key role in our organization, responsible for supervising and training the distribution team members to meet the company's strategic, competitive, and internal needs while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with initial training and orientation of new team members to develop furniture handling skills, proficiency in using tools, and high-quality customer service.
  • Provide performance improvement suggestions to the distribution supervisory team based on team feedback and observation.
  • Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and rules.
  • Ensure that all training and compliance is current and managed with all team members within our safety guidelines.
  • Prioritize work assignment and handle multiple tasks to ensure that all distribution assigned tasks are completed as scheduled.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, with a minimum of 1 year of distribution center experience.
  • Knowledge on relevant industry standards.
  • Ability to learn in-house computer programs.
  • Highly effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach and train other team members.
  • Ability to adapt to change in a business environment.
  • Good physical condition with stamina to lift at least 50 – 100 pounds.
  • Flexible work schedules to meet the requirements of the operation (available Monday-Friday evenings and Saturday)
  • Criminal Background Check required.
