About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to join our dynamic team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. As a key member of our Accommodations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff and ensuring the highest quality of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure they meet Sodexo standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to new housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Workload Distribution: Distribute and execute daily, weekly, and monthly workloads to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of facilities.
  • Safety Culture: Champion and maintain a strong safety culture within the team, ensuring that all staff understand and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Assisting with Cleaning Duties: Assist with cleaning duties as needed to ensure that workloads are completed to Sodexo standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a commercial setting, preferably in a camp attendant, janitorial, or chambermaid role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Must have excellent communication and leadership skills, be physically fit, and able to lift heavy items. Must also have good attendance and disciplinary records.
  • Work Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, and be available to work independently with minimal supervision.
