About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Scott's Inn and Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, providing a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring that their stay with us is enjoyable and memorable.
  • Staff Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review the work of our staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver excellent service to our guests.
  • Operations Management: Maintain the operation of our computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs as needed to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring that our motel is well-stocked and that our guests have access to everything they need.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that our motel is a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff, implementing policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hotel, motel, or resort industry.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong understanding of business operations and management principles is essential.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in our motel, and proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
