Position Overview

The Healthcare Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage various administrative tasks efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
  • Asset Languages: Proficiency in Hindi and Panjabi; Punjabi is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors and guide them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Provide essential information to clients and the general public.
  • Manage the switchboard or telephone system effectively.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for patients.
  • Carry out clerical tasks, including filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
  • Answer phone calls and relay messages promptly.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all clients.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of handling pressure and repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Primarily sedentary work.
