About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Carecorp at Willingdon Care Centre Limited Partnership. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring resident safety.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, including resident rooms and common areas, and assist with laundry duties.
  • Meal Preparation and Service: Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring residents receive nutritious and appealing meals.
  • Transportation and Escort: Safely transport residents to and from activities, appointments, and other destinations, providing escort services as needed.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn, with a strong desire to provide exceptional care and support to residents.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and other relevant certifications as required by the facility.
