About the Role

VIVA CARE MEDICAL is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Manage Information Flow: Ensure accurate and timely communication between patients, healthcare providers, and staff members.
  • Schedule and Confirm Appointments: Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and procedures, and ensure that all necessary information is communicated to relevant parties.
  • Process Insurance and Claims: Prepare and submit insurance claims, and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Prepare and Edit Reports and Documents: Prepare and edit medical reports, correspondence, and other documents as required, and ensure that all necessary information is included.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, quick learner, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
