About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Normanna Care Services Limited Partnership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide basic life support.
  • Transport patients between care facilities and assist with exercise routines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including making beds and emptying bed pans.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
