Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Asian Food Centre Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, manage kitchen inventory and records, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that all staff members are aware of food safety and handling procedures.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain a system for tracking inventory and ordering.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail.
