Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Assistant Cook to join our team at Fresh Burrito. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely restocking.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, supporting our quality control and inventory management processes.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Recruitment: Recruit and hire staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team to support our kitchen operations.
- Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Experience: Will train, permanent employment, English language, and 35 hours per week.
