Job SummaryThe Project Manager will oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion according to schedule, specifications, and budget. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating labour, subcontractors, and materials
- Ensuring adherence to company safety policies on all projects
- Liaising with project owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and tradespersons
- Monitoring and enhancing labour productivity
- Responsible for cost forecasting
- Reviewing work/contracts/WIP for areas of risk and addressing deficiencies
The ideal candidate will possess:

A degree or diploma in construction management or engineering, or equivalent field experience, is required. Additionally, 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry is necessary.
Skills and AbilitiesThe successful candidate will have advanced knowledge and understanding of:
- Contract management
- Construction scheduling, planning, and execution
- Blueprint reading
- Financial statements – reading and comprehension
- Established mechanical practices, procedures, and techniques
- Applicable local and provincial labour codes
- Managing/leading union staff
- Organization and time management
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
