Job Summary

The Senior Principal Project Manager is responsible for leading or leveraging cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for research and technology. This role requires a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or leverage cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies.
  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manage the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
  • Monitor the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Gather requirements, work on requirements planning, requirements elicitation, and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a bachelor's degree, or; minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with an advanced degree.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Confident about being able to apply business acumen to help make pragmatic trade-off decisions between time-to-market, product costs, product reliability, product features, and budget.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The degree should be in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related areas.
  • The degree should showcase practical work in front-end engineering through solving significant clinical gaps in current and novel markets.

What We Offer

Base Salary Range: 120K - 180K
