The Senior Principal Project Manager is responsible for leading or leveraging cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for research and technology. This role requires a strong background in project management, with experience in managing teams, budgets, and schedules.

A Day in the Life
  • • Leads or leverages cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies.
  • • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • • Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • • Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation, and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree.
  • • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a bachelor's degree, or minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with an advanced degree.
  • • Strong background in project management, with experience in managing teams, budgets, and schedules.
  • • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • • The degree should be in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related areas.
  • • The degree should showcase practical work in front-end engineering through solving significant clinical gaps in current and novel markets.
  • • Managed teams, project management experience, technical management, clinical expertise, business acumen, technological expertise, and organizational and soft skills.

Base Salary Range: 120K - 180K
