Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team in the Montreal office. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in guiding teams in adopting effective agile processes, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring clear communication of project status to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and guide scrum teams in the adoption of agile processes, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality across teams.
  • Assist in setting and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to drive team success.
  • Collaborate with teams to create and maintain project timelines, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Develop project plans and sprint documentation to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and scope.
  • Identify and remove obstacles hindering team progress, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Facilitate standard ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups and retrospectives, to promote team collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Requirements

  • Hold a university degree in a field related to IT or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successful team collaboration and agile process implementation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Azure DevOps, to streamline project execution and improve team efficiency.
