About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at American Iron and Metal. As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in guiding our teams in adopting effective agile processes, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring clear communication of project status to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Agile Process Adoption: Facilitate and guide scrum teams in the adoption of agile processes, ensuring seamless integration with our existing workflows.
  • Process Improvement: Create and maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency across teams.
  • Performance Metrics: Assist with setting and measuring KPIs and performance metrics, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Project Planning: Assist with creating and maintaining project timelines, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Sprint Documentation: Create project plans and sprint documentation, ensuring clear communication of project status to stakeholders.
  • Team Facilitation: Identify and remove team obstacles, facilitating smooth collaboration and communication among team members.
  • Standard Ceremonies: Facilitate standard ceremonies, ensuring adherence to agile principles and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback, driving process excellence and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Education: Hold a university degree in a field related to IT.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Agile Certification: Certification in Agile methodologies.
  • Agile Tools: Experience with Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps.
