About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our care team, you will provide direct, hands-on care to patients based on their individual needs and program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living
  • Reinforce patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care
  • Work collaboratively with regulated health professionals to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Continuing Care Assistant Program certification
  • Provincial Certification with Department of Health and Wellness
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Effective listening and communication skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

What We Offer:

  • Permanent Full-time Position; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • $25.70 hourly
