We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our medical staff and contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Coordination
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare providers
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for medical staff
- Record Keeping and Filing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and files
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information
- Office Administration
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including preparing reports and presentations
- Manage office supplies and equipment, and perform other administrative tasks as required
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- Experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset
This is a casual position working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
