About the Role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Healthcare Recruitment and Retention, we are looking for skilled marketing professionals to join our healthcare recruitment team. As a Marketing Advisor, you will be instrumental in implementing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at attracting talent to Nova Scotia Health. This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly influence the healthcare recruitment landscape, contribute to the growth of our organization, and enhance the accessibility and delivery of healthcare services in our province.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote healthcare recruitment and retention initiatives through various media channels.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance through data evaluation, identifying key trends and insights to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Recruitment teams to create engaging materials that support lead nurturing activities.
  • Work with the Healthcare Recruitment team to design event materials for various promotional activities.
  • Partner with the Healthcare Recruitment team to develop innovative attraction activities for events and job fairs.
  • Manage website content using a content management system.
  • Develop and schedule social media content in collaboration with team members.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content for both digital and traditional channels.
Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or post-secondary education in marketing, advertising, digital communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification in digital marketing, social media advertising, or graphic design is considered an asset.
  • Three to five years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Experience in video production and editing is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and email marketing tools.
  • Experience in event management and support.
  • Familiarity with web content management systems and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Skilled in using digital advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using digital tools for campaign reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to produce compelling content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills to address complex issues in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary is currently under review. Successful candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
