Kitchen Manager Job Description

Pizza Wings and More is seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including training and development to ensure they meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of food and kitchen supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Develop and implement budget and cost estimates to ensure the kitchen operates within budget.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform kitchen operations and improve efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on kitchen performance and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and train kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
