We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 14342682 CANADA INC.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Special Events: Plan and execute special events, such as banquets and catering services, to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain the highest standards of culinary excellence.
- Prepare and Cook Complete Meals: Develop and prepare menus, and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the diverse tastes and dietary requirements of our customers.
- Inspect Kitchens and Food Service Areas: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our kitchens and food service areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene.
- Train Staff in Food Preparation: Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff and helpers on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
- Supervise Kitchen Staff: Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Clean Kitchen and Work Areas: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Recruit and Hire Staff: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process to identify and select top talent for our kitchen team.
- Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
