Collingwood General & Marine Hospital (CGMH) is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage medium to high acuity patients, including those who may require admission, in the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively with the supervising physician and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Lead medical provider in the ED Fast Track Program, ensuring efficient and effective patient flow.
- Perform a complete and appropriate assessment of patients, formulate a differential diagnosis, and develop a clinical treatment plan.
- Provide education to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Bachelor of Science Degree (Physician Assistant) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Emergency Medicine and the Emergency Department patient.
- Excellent time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with other members of the healthcare team.
- Competitive hourly rate of $56.81.
