Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
