Program Administrator, Arts and Culture

The City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Arts Program Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing arts programs that promote community engagement and cultural development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement arts programs that align with the department's strategic objectives
- Collaborate with community partners, artists, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality programs
- Manage program budgets, resources, and logistics
- Supervise and train program staff and volunteers
- Monitor program evaluation and impact
- College or university degree in a related field (theatre, dance, music, visual arts, etc.)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in arts administration, program development, or a related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local arts community and cultural trends
