Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Great Team Logistics. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution

Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Customer Service and Communication

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection

Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.

Load and Unload Goods

Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Transportation and Handling of Hazardous Materials

Transport and handle hazardous materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses

AZ class license and a valid driver's license.

Transportation Experience

Local and long-haul transportation experience, with a willingness to travel cross-border and for extended periods.

Physical Demands

Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.

Personal Qualities

Excellent oral communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and a hardworking attitude.
