Freight Operations Manager

FREIGHT MASTERS LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our freight forwarding services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of our freight forwarding team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and product quality.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to assess team member performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Coordinate and assign work tasks to team members, ensuring that deadlines are met and goals are achieved.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related field.
- Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Judgement and decision-making skills.
- Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a client-focused approach.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
