We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Operations Manager to join our team at Freight Network Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our freight services.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of freight operations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on freight operations, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of freight equipment and supplies, and requisition or order materials as required.
- Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including scheduling and assigning work.
As a Freight Operations Manager at Freight Network Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy workloads. You must be able to handle pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
