Job Title: National Sales Director

Amgen SA is seeking a highly skilled National Sales Director to lead our Rare Disease Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and building out our sales organization, supporting the launch of new products, and establishing Amgen as a valued strategic partner in the Rare Disease space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sales representatives to achieve business objectives and deliver national sales results.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to engage with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of pharmaceutical/medical industry experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience of brand teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Experience in Rare Disease Strategic Account Management and Neurology, Ophthalmology, and/or Endocrinology is an asset.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
