Job Title: Restaurant Server

Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join our team at Passage to India Restaurant. This role is essential in delivering outstanding dining experiences for our patrons. As a Server, you will be instrumental in providing excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting the overall success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Warmly welcome guests and guide them to their tables in a timely manner.
  2. Present menus and offer detailed descriptions of dishes when needed.
  3. Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests.
  4. Encourage guests to try menu items and beverages to enhance their dining experience.
  5. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure prompt delivery of orders.
  6. Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism.
  7. Process payments and manage cash registers with accuracy.
  8. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area.
Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred.
  2. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks.
  3. Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  4. Understanding of food safety standards and practices.
  5. Ability to manage cash transactions accurately.
  6. Experience with basic math calculations for order accuracy.
