About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Recreation and Gym Services Attendant to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS). As a key member of our Personnel Support Programs (PSP) team, you will play a vital role in maintaining operational facilities and providing exceptional membership services to our military members and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and clean the pool, perform minor maintenance work, and conduct safety checks on facilities and equipment
  • Issue sports and recreation equipment and monitor its use
  • Open, monitor, and control access to facilities in accordance with safety regulations
  • Drive the Recreation Department's 24-passenger bus to transport customers of various recreation classes (class 4B license required)
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and several years of experience in a related field
  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
  • A valid driver's license (Quebec)
  • Experience in cash handling, office administration, and using software for word processing, spreadsheet, presentations, databases, email, and Internet browsing
  • Competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
Language Requirements

French is essential for this role.
