Swim Instructor/Lifeguard

At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Swim Instructor/Lifeguard. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing quality leisure programs and ensuring the safety of our military members and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in swimming instruction and lifeguarding, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering swimming lessons, supervising pool activities, and enforcing safety rules to prevent accidents.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. You will be a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the well-being of our members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver swimming lessons to members of all ages and skill levels
- Supervise pool activities and enforce safety rules to prevent accidents
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and their families
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality leisure programs
Qualifications:
- Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification
- Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
- Current recognized Swim Instructor certification
- Experience working with children and adults in a recreation or fitness setting
Language Requirements:
French is an essential language for this role.
