About the Opportunity

Parker Huggett is partnering with a prominent developer to support their high-rise projects in Ottawa. This developer is known for their commitment to quality and customer experience in residential and commercial towers. They are seeking a Site Coordinator to assist their field operations team with the delivery of mixed high-rise projects.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A post-secondary diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office software and various computer applications
About the Job

The Site Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with basic field coordination and site office duties, including updating drawings, measuring site quantities, and documenting field reports
  • Serving as a liaison between the Site Superintendent and trade labor force
  • Maintaining a daily construction log in conjunction with the Site Superintendent
  • Preparing and maintaining various site communication and documentation with head office and site
  • Attending and participating in site meetings, preparing meeting agendas, recording meeting minutes, and preparing for distribution as directed
  • Allocating tasks to laborers daily according to the Site Superintendent's instructions
  • Making out requisitions for non-standard items and submitting to the purchaser
  • Arranging for supplies to be delivered
  • Comparing delivery notes with bills of quantities and actual quantities delivered
  • Maintaining inventory of required materials and placing orders accordingly
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, including temporary storage on site

Salary is up to $85,000 with benefits and matching RRSP.
