Parker Huggett is working with a Montreal-based developer who is expanding their high-rise presence in Ottawa. This firm prioritizes quality and customer experience in their residential and commercial towers, driving every aspect of their building projects.

This developer is deeply rooted in Quebec and Ontario, enhancing the communities they build with unique and beautifully designed buildings. Now, this real estate developer is seeking a site coordinator to support their field operations team with the delivery of mixed high-rise projects in Ottawa.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  1. A post-secondary diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  3. Strong knowledge of the construction industry
  4. Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  5. Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment
  6. Excellent knowledge of MS Office software and various computer applications
About the Job

The site coordinator will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting with basic field coordination and site office duties, including updating drawings, measuring site quantities, documenting field reports, and maintaining quality records
  2. Serving as the liaison between the Site Superintendent and trade labor force
  3. Maintaining a daily construction log in conjunction with the Site Superintendent
  4. Preparing and maintaining various site communication and documentation with head office and site
  5. Attending and participating in site meetings, preparing meeting agendas, recording meeting minutes, and distributing them as directed
  6. Allocating tasks to laborers daily according to the Site Superintendent's instructions
  7. Making requisitions for non-standard items and submitting them to the purchaser
  8. Arranging for supplies to be delivered
  9. Comparing delivery notes with bills of quantities and actual quantities delivered
  10. Maintaining inventory of required materials and placing orders accordingly
  11. Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, including temporary storage on site

Salary is up to $85,000 with benefits and matching RRSP.
