Job Summary

Central Protection Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Planning and Control: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to achieve business objectives, and monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for financial planning and budgeting.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and review financial reports, including financial statements and regulatory reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, financial planning and control, or accounting and compliance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and develop recommendations for financial planning and budgeting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: 35 hours per week, in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
